Making of a Rune Knight Parts 8, 9 & 10!

It's been awhile since I have updated this page with the Rune Knight Playthough series. Here's parts 8, 9 & 10! We're finally able to take down some of the hardest MVPs!

Time to finish off the Rolling Cutter / Double Attack Guillotine Cross

Finally decided I will max out the Hit based GX I have, due to the numbers you can create with this build being so gloriously high. I hope to finish off my gears soon and hit 200k on Nightmare Amon Ra! Here's what we have so far:


I still need the STR boots & to make some FS RWC rings with Gold Scaraba cards, as well as the Force3 BDM. I did get the Wakwak FAW so one step closer! Meanwhile, I continue to level this character in NCT through bounty boards and Timeholder MVP. More videos of that to come!

Guillotine Cross Rolling Cutter Test 190 vs 193 ASPD

Hello all! Something I don't normally do is thorough skill testing, I typically stick to calculating and only really test when absolutely necessary - which is the case here!

It was brought up by Munbalanced that 190 ASPD maxes out Rolling Cutters recast time, and that 193 would be no higher. This threw me off, because I always wear Kiel-D-01 on my GX when doing Fenrir & Sarah Instance because I noticed the kill speed is way faster. So, I made a video of a perfect macro with the different ASPD/delay reductions.



To make it easier to see, I have slowed each 30 second clip to exactly 75 seconds each. This was my 4th test of this nature, all proved consistent as shown. If you need me to post the un-slowed clips, I can do that as well :D

Macro was used with 100 MS delay between buttonpress. No manual keys used as to not throw off the test.

As you can see, if you finished the video, 193 with 52% delay and 100% delay reduction are the exact same. This is due to RC have a 200 ms delay normally, with the 52% reduction making it 0.096 ms delay, allowing the 100 ms macro to work perfectly as well.

Making of a Rune Knight 1/1 Novice - 99/50 Knight

I am back! This time with a not-so-MVP-themed thread. I have been meaning to make a new Rune Knight for awhile, and yesterday decided to get started with my live Playthrough of my new RK, Lawrence Pemberton. For those who are confused by this name, this may help

This is by no means a beginner guide or a PRO guide, just me, making an RK. I have lots of zeny to waste. Hope you enjoy and follow along!

Double Dagger Critical Guillotine Cross Build

If you're ever wondering....hey, what is your skill/stat build? Well, wonder no longer! 

Below is my skill/stat build of my DD Crit Guillotine Cross. 

You will notice I do not have Double-Attack, which is a strategic move and requires you to Job Change to Assassin Cross while only Job Level 42, rather than 50. If you go higher than 42, you're forced to get Double-Attack, and will have a 50% chance to not Crit, making it not a viable DD Crit build. 

The MVP Summoner has been updated on iRO Chaos! Now, instead of 100% availability for VIP users, the summoner will only be active 1 week our of the month and will feature new MVPs more frequently. This months choices

Ragnarok Online: Guillotine Cross vs Fenrir MVP

Welcome back! Up again with a new video from this morning, GX vs Fenrir MVP. This is the final contestent of the Geffen Magic Tournament which was recently added to iRO Chaos server (about a year ago now?). Most of it is quite boring up until the last two contestants. The cool thing about this instance is that they took this from early on in the Ragnarok Manhwa and introduced it into the game (12 years later?! haha).



Not sure why but I forgot to record the mini-boss previous to Fenrir who is difficult as well, though I'll have to catch that next time. Hope you enjoy! Check out this page for music credits.

Ragnarok Online: Wolchev's Labratory aka Biolabs 4 MVP Instance

Hello All! Thanks for stopping in again and apologies for the delay in posting, real life has taken over but this weekend I have found some time to play and write! This is a video I actually recorded a few weeks ago, and if you're subscribed to me on YouTube, you may have already seen it.

 

In the video above, I have just opened the final room of the MVP summoning instance. In this instance, you have a random chance at all of the Bio3/4 MVP's - there doesn't seem to be a way to tell which, so in the video, this is a lucky guess. I guessed it would be Gypsy or Clown and already have an Earth element assigned to my weapon by using an elemental converter scroll. Once she spawns, a quick dark claw and crit is all it takes. (If you crit for 170k =P)
